How our Flower, Tree, and Greenhouse Business Began

IN THE BEGINNING

These were the humble beginnings of our tree nursery and greenhouse business - Ivy Street Greenhouses in Canby, OR. My beautiful Momma and I circa 1997. We sold trees (holy cow $10?), hanging baskets, veggie starts, and annuals at our Ivy Street

HERE WE GROW!

In 2020, we opened Rutz Family Farms, a tree nursery, flower nursery, and greenhouse business in Canby Oregon.

At the time, we never planned to open retail at the farm. Our plan was to do farmer's markets, but COVID changed some of our plans and here we are!

WE KEEP GROWING!

Today we’ve expanded to 3 large greenhouses and a much larger selection of trees and shrubs. We grow nearly 350 hanging baskets and patio pots annually.

Our family has expanded as well, this truly is a family farm with multiple generations of nursery growers. Thank you, friends, for all your support and business through the years. We plan to keep growing and continue this family tradition for years to come!
